Surprise surprise beautiful people thought milked fish was dead ? i know for a fact that never crossed anyones mind just assumed i faded into the background like most of people socials stands they "will die for " well milked fish is the hill im willing to die on in a sense '!
I really need to do a full thing on quotes and there origins etc because i love nothing more then those old quotes and with my increasing age i feel i need to collect all of them give the illusion of a wise older gentleman but really have base or leg to stand while referring to any of them . Picture tis old bar i stroll in brushing snow off walk nod and say remember a man lights his own smoke with no context or reasoning behind it then plant my self down count change and ask whats your finest cheapest ale . Then proceed to be tossed out for making a scene . Magical right.
Got seriously off topic into my delusions of grander Real reason why im here and back missed my food reviews movie UFOS etc so today is going to be a life update and a brief update on life comedy and such also a new food review also new one my thoughts on movies i like to think im a pretty good judge also maybe some gonzo jourlaism a route ive always been curious about clearly inspired by hunter s thompson and more recently the won ton don of barstool sports . lets start with a brief life update

Lifes a real roller coaster if that coaster fell off the track mircasolsy fell onto a another one kept going got bombed shit on then by some act of the universe ended up being okay . Thats problay the short and sweet of my life over the past year and half 2 years or so not all bad more good then i can imagine exactly . met the love of my life we are to get married next year broke my leg job jumped back to the winery living hard and fast at 32 years old wouldn't change it for the world travel is upon us in the new year then in 18 months we start the overseas adventure which is what ive been waiting of r a person to travel this dark scary beautiful amazing world with . Comedy has been quite for me working every weekend tuesday to sunday all working late but slowly but surely ill be back on the stage . Thats about the sum of it all working family life getting married thats all
Food Review :
Once again for everyone if your new to milked fish i dont bash paces unless its well deserved also im a chef so my take on things may be a different then normal in many ways pointing out things alot of people that dont see as well but hey its all up for interpretation but always positive in the long wrong if it was bad i wouldn't even be writing this Side note my dumbass didnt take photos which is great but hopefully my words can paint the picture of the culinary delight im describing .
So the shit thing about only having monday and tuesdays off is that nothing is fucking open espically resurants last thing i wanna do is fucking cook on my day off its a basic life skill i get trust me alot opf people dont havre it even people that work in the kitchens dont either trust me ive workied with them .
So we deciced to go out for dinner on m,omday evening and asking 3 women where they want to eat is always task like taking blood from a stone that being said the burden fell on me to apease 3 differnt taste profiles there like and dislikes then boom the new place in the falls call weinlokal came to mind i remeber driving past it while going to favorite lunch place while working construction Costco hahaha
So we get dressed and head there for 6 pre dinner rush but also its monday so we never know what it could be like nice extrior not much signage from the road nbut once again this place is stillnew so i get the ad thing isnt fully in swing yet but beautiful building we walk in nice and done up very modern with a touch of classic dining cornhole on fake grass off to left dining room straight ahead and and a bar to the right waited a few mins for a waiter never a great sign espically the 15 year old daughter of my fiance just started as hostess this summer so we had to hear the this wouldnt fly if i wasnt working cute as fuck right . Yet when the waiter came over she was lovely and apolgized explained she was the only one on for the next hour so all was forgiven satus outside the bar ina large booth the didnt seem to end it was nice but dark anyone over 40 couldn't see the menus like my mom but we figured it out .
The menu was clean looking basic front logon 2 page menu looks for ptoions. one thing that threew mw and girl off was the all over the place menu options like classic itiain then fusion then asain then french which is not a good sign when eating at a place i always make the point you woukldnt go to a chinesse place for pizza. so that was tad worrseome and ive been let down a thousnad time by meus like this so but i was thrre and ready to eat . we order apps for the table first dish comes out in a timly manner baked goat cheese witha maple truffle drizzle knock out ! my god it was good presentation was flawless and the maple not to sweet to help the light truffle background plus you never go wrong with warm goat cheese highly recommended . the other app we orded was the classic calaamri with chiptole mayo very basic dish one thing that tossed me off was the use of tropica flour but still none the less it was great the sauce was amazing the 3rd was the classic was caesar salad knockout again had a piee of grilled bread underneath it which was a tad different but it helped witht extra sauce aso the bestpart no bacon they had crisp pepperoni cups garnishing it which were unreal and a nice change to classic bacon so we off to a great start from our first imperssions !
The mains! after that strong opener our hopes werre high for our mains and let me tell you we weren't let down by any means or stretch of the imagination
Ill start with mine the tomahawk craved porkchop with chimichurri type sauce starts with a g i cant figure out the spelling im pretty not smart witha sweet potato puree steak house broccoli and potato croquette. I was so wildy blown away from the dish cooked perfectly the whole dish was out of the world good god i cant speak enough about how good it was would tell everyone and anyone to eat this ! Fucking tremendos
Coffee rolled steak filet wrapped with bacon once again knockout the misses couldnt talk enough about it and shes hard to please trust me it was cooked perfectly juicy not to much coffee flavour just enough it was tremouds once again off to such a start with these mains we were so impressed beyond words looking at eachother like wow this is sucha sleeper place no one is talking about i would go back ust for those alone. The kid had piri chicken surpreme which once again was a knockout safe to say were excited to go back and try some more we looked at the dessert menu got the dessert flight macrons choclate wontons and a moouse and beer fudge which were all perfect.
Safe to say we walked out of there full content and over the moon with how fucking good that food was and how our first impressions were so off talked about the entire way home and even when we got home i cant say enough good about that food and that place were more then excited to go back it warms me to see a place like this open everyday pumping out food like that on a monday my hats off to the cooks and chefs that prepared that food yall are killin it even the server that was running show solo you killed it . just cause you think know restaurants or such never think a place cant kill it theres always sleepers like this wonderful place.
