Soooooo back at it to shine some light on my favorite places new places and so on I haven't really done any recently simply because of some health concerns involving food fucking sucks but is what it is. Now that i got them under control ill be able to post about the amazing places this region has to offer .
First let me start with a watering hole of mine thats near and dear to me Fat Louise
Fat Louies 384 Linwell Road St.Catharines and 198 Niagara St St.Catharines
Fat louise has been a inustition in north end of st catharines for years now . We are usually there on a weekly basis for football picks and beer . So normally when i go there to eat i always check there daily specials which are unreal im not sure they are running them right now given the bull shit rescrtions that our government is forcing down on us. From the subs which include the Louies famous steak and cheese sub the angry texan or fat chicken sub you'll wont be disappointed with anything between two pieces of bread at this place . The steak and cheese is always my go to with hot peppers thin beef peppers cheese mayo mushrooms all the cheese greasy good ness its wild how good this fucking sub is (currently drooling and dreaming about it with a cold beer )
The thing place is known for is their pizza and wings which i would happily put up against any place in this area .Every birthday every anniversary every drunken saturday afternoon we order fat louise's a beautiful tray pepperoni bacon and hot peppers no need to order extra toppings they load them up like crazy just normally loads of cheese crispy tremendous crust . Even the small pizza when you go in is unreal always on point always what you wanted and them some . Next the wings the wings there's probably not enough good things you can say about these little pieces of perfection well little is a bit more a understatement some times these babies look like turkey legs . You are set with pretty much any flavour wings youll be golden . Always with blue cheese you eat ranch with your wings you need to really reassess your life choices big time . So i cant recommend this place enough the Owner Tony and his staff are absolutely amazing people and run a tight ship tremendous service food drink and every other need you have going into a place .
Manhattans 405 Vine St. St.Catahrines
This little slice of perfection is another north end inustiton . I have been going here on a weekly basis since ive been of age to drink and even before for the food . This is true neighbourhood place young old and everything in between call this place home. amazing service the best staff great atmosphere cold beer daily specials daily soups amazing regulars celtic soccer games they got a bit of everything going on . Before the lockdown they had monthly bus trips to games blue jays buffalo to many places to name but they were amazing. Even during the restrictions during the summer they had one of the best patios in the city it was amazing . The owners Tara And wayne have really made a warming great place to relax eat and drink with friends and families watch the game have a couple afternoon pops after a long week but lets get to the food.
First and foremost my go to The Empire Steak sub there was a time and place i would get these on a twice a week basis . Toasted baguette melted cheese onions mushrooms mayo and thin sliced steak with the fries on the side . My lord these were ungodly good any problem you have in life this beautifully packed sub would fix it . The crispy wontons The club house the ruben its all out of the park delciuos . Because of the situation they are offering family meals as well which are more bang for your buck and just amazing currently there offering beef on a bun pierogies and salad penne and meatballs sliders and fish and chip packs also dont sleep on that daily made soup is to die for ,
The pizza and wings here and next level as well amazing light and chewy dough cup and char pepperoni on a bed of salty mozzarella crunchy crust overall just simply bomb they got party packs and deals on them as well seriously check them out . The wings are some of the best things i have put n my mouth juice crispy just always always on point . They aren't huge they are a medium size so getting them extra crispy are my lordddddd something make life worth living . All and All check this place out support them its a amazing place ran by even more amazing people.
And last is The Lemon Tree a mediteran vegan bistro.

This was kinda a one off but it was worth it and ill be definitely going back because of some health things im having trouble eating meat so that being said vegan pops ups boom this lovley little place . From what i know its been around for a while cute little place inside very mederatitan feeling lovely service safe beautiful display counter kitchen looked spotless. This evening i had a hunger like no other so i went in for the calamari with tzatziki and falafel wrap with a side caesar. all under 25 and 100% vegan and i would shocked to see someone tell the difference it was unreal the sauces were all the exact same the wrap itself the salad all just knocked it out . The happiness i had eating here was unreal because i haven't really heard many people talk about but hey they really need to get some light on them absolutely unreal i cant wait to go back and try more of there potions the whole menu looks unreal ! want a sleeper hit and try something out of your comfort zone please check this place out !!!
