Working in the service industry we have all heard our far share of unbelievably stupid requests preferences so called allergies or people generally just being a asshole for being an asshole wanting to watch others suffer the list is endless with what the reasoning is why people decide to do so. But yesterday i had probably the worst why i cant have something my ears has ever heard so bad to the point i am writing about it.
That's saying a lot considering i have worked at dive bars strip clubs restaurants hotels radio door to door sales and basically everywhere else fuck come to think of it i really gotta pull my life together I've done a lot with no or little success or just simply walked out and never came back getting off top. So basically I've heard and seen it all when it comes to customers asking for dumb shit .
I have had the requests while working in the kitchen egg less omelettes which really speaks volumes to the dummy that actually punched that bill in . I have had people ask for there main to be broken into 3 plates because the sight of a lot of food throws off his stomach and he wasn't able to eat it . The old my drink is to fizzy do you have and flat pop instead . The gut wrenching breakfast order for egg benny where each English muffin is cooked differently with different meat on each side and the egg cooked differently on each type of meat . Yeah that really happened and yes it was fucking horrible its people like that why most kitchen people drink and smoke so heavily . The " shoe leather" steak incident where a gentlemen wanted his steak so well done we eventually gave in and deep fried it after we burned it best steak he said he ever had .
Or every service workers favorite the gluten allergy which isnt really a allergy I get it if you have something you can not eat that fine and dandy but if you are the scum that fakes something like that walk into traffic oh no i can have some gluten as long as its not alot hunni its a fucking sandwich wheres the line what degree of to much is to much does your lonely housewife blog tell you exact amount fuck off right. Sorry i have had a lot of bad run ins with these low lives over the years its a touchy subject.
But besides that lets get to the point as many of you know i've basically said fuck working i'm trying something else with my life so i work at food truck part time blog do podcast stand up comedy and odd things here of there til something works out . Yesterday i'm at the fry truck plugging away steady nothing crazy couple beers typically Monday at the truck couple comes in orders a couple sausages can already tell they are not all there a few screws short of a full set i make the order about 10 mins later the woman pops back to the window and says i cant have mustard on this i in my smart ass way state well you should train your husband better to know what you want . i ask her want me to put it on a new bun shes says fine i do that shes oh can i have a new one I'm allergic to mustard im oh okay you should of let me know we are a fry truck there's literally mustard everywhere she goes well its not really a allergy i just cant eat it the yellow part mustard makes me depressed........yeahhhh
instead of what most people would do i had to dive deeper into this and find out more . Immediately i figured something strange with mustard and an uncle occurred in her younger years because really what else is there really? she dived into about every time she has it she gets sad for a week i exclaimed how about 5 grain she told me she didn't care much for KFC so clearly she doesn't know anything about anything it was shocking to say the least lost a bit more faith in humanity didn't have a lot to start with so that is okay. drop me a private msg on one of my profiles to tell your favorite dumb request story and ill figure in a up coming blog
