The happily depressing side of Thursday that feel like Sunday.

Tossing and turning rolling you keep getting up thoughts of tomorrow weighing heavily on your mind your trying to sneak in whatever last minute of sleep you can enjoy before the inevitable of that alarm then that filthy bastard called reality slaps you in the mouth like you owe him money and it all starts all over again!

Seriously tho everyone and thier cousin can agree Sundays are the worst if you work and Monday to Friday job expect for the lovely rare group of individuals that work in the food service industry. Thursday is the day all the joy you felt on those precious days off are whist away like a bag in the wind .Thursday arent the busiest of days the prep chart is filled the annoying dinner rush comes in bit by bit you get off have a few cocktails readying your spirit and body for the on slot of picky customers modded chits hungover line mates a ball chaff that started early that server that is dumber then a stack of hay that fucks up every order she takes and the rest of the everything that goes along with Friday service . After you come to grips once several cocktails are down you laying in bed dehydrated headache regretting those last call shots and slight after party hooking up with that bartender you swore to yourself you wouldn't do "again"asking your weak minded self why why why do i do this to myself over and over again for the forth straight week knowing full well what is going to happen and you get to do this for the next two nights hangovers and cocktails included. That all being said theres so many different ways you can look it like such as your going into battle working for perfection the rush the heat the comradery the awful puns the amazing food you honing your skills to the best of their abilities leaving the kitchen with a sense of accomplishment looking forward to the next day of what a lot of us call work or doing what you love fulfilling your passion for this wonderful career path we choose loving every second of it
