I believe everyone should should know how to make a great meal for themselves and at least 3 others- Anthony Bourdain
Watching a cooks tour many years ago hear him speak those words really resonated with me i thought to myself wow that is unbelievably true i know a crazy amount of people that cant fry an egg to save the life of the mother even if they can cook its so bland over cooked and just over all crap.
Starting to be believe its really not anyone's fault its just a lack of knowledge or is it ? could it be older generations not bringing the kids into the kitchen and showing them how its done? A lack of Sunday dinners at home with family?or generally younger generations going giving a shit about making food for friends and families alike ?
most likely its a combination of all things. Only if this group of people near the great feeling of spending time making a great meal for friends and family bringing them into the kitchen with you and enjoying that time together. this issue is also a 2 way street it is very easy to order an amazing meal from restaurant and eat that experience alone wine flowing great ambiance good company and conversation this excitement you feel when you see the server bringing the food to your table the little tease when you see your server with food thinking its yours and it belongs to another table its a great sensation over all. that all being said you cant eat out and have that experience everyday because it will lose its excitement just like anything else you over do. after all this the point im trying to get at is grab some food get in the kitchen and make a great meal the purity and the sense of accomplishment you'll have is great . Also the memories you can make over a stove is one you soon wont forget .
